Pixie’s backstory is a bit of a mystery. She was found all alone, wandering in a neighborhood. She was so tiny and vulnerable. Her skin was in such bad shape that it appeared she was suffering from intentional burns.

Her skin wasn’t actually burned but Pixie had a terrible case of mange. Her mange had gotten so bad that it invaded every spot on her tiny body. She was covered in bad sores from all her scratching. She was also malnourished. You could tell she would be a large breed dog and at only 6 weeks, she weighed only 4 pounds.
